Torcicoda Tormaresca (Primitivo) 2017
Wine Critic & Score: Wine Enthusiast – 90 Points, James Suckling – 93 Points
This is the label that put the region of Puglia in the world map of wine: it was the first bottle from this region to be featured in the prestigious “Top 100” by Wine Spectator in 2010.
Torcicoda is an elegant version of Primitivo, showing red fruit aromas, black cherries, with hints of liquorice and delicate notes of candied fruit. The name means “tail twister”, a reference to the farming culture of the last century.
